Rashedul Islam received his Ph.D. in 2021 in Bioinformatics from the University of British Columbia. In his PhD research he studied epigenetic dysregulation in human lymphoid leukemias. He is analyzing large-scale functional epigenomic data collected from normal and cancer tissues. He is the recipient of Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Training Award for graduate studies.
